Enjoy the luxury of a cream tea sat in your own garden, making the most of a family occasion, or maybe you just feel like a little treat on an afternoon in the sunshine we are lucky enough to have alongside us at this time.
I can deliver for orders of minimum of £25 but feel free to pop by and collect, all payments to be done ahead of time or by card when you pick up.
For your delicious goodies we ask for a minimum order of 4 people, which is @ £5.25 per person.
If you are going the whole way then order the china alongside but being as we are ALL staying home then I understand you may only be looking for the goodies!!

Afternoon Tea Sets

Cotswold Vintage Tea Sets has all that you could possibly need and so much more.

Our tea sets can accommodate over 100 people, a great selection of colour, giving that fabulous feeling of "yesterday".

We pack up our sets in groups of six, containing everything you need for your event.

China Teapots and our Cotswold Vintage Tea Set Package

A varied selection of teapots, all giving that great chance of making just the "Best Cuppa"

When you hire from us, each package for six  comes with a teapot, sugar bowel, milk jug, cake stand, tea plates, cups, saucers, tea knives and teaspoons.

All these give your table that finished touch and heaps of colour.

Also, we provide beautiful cloths available to hire for your day.

 Payment methods we accept?

  • We accept cheque or BACS payment.

  • On booking we ask for 50% of the final fee.

  • Any bookings made within 30 days of delivery/pick up date, we require full payment up front via  BACS.

  • Full balance is required 30 days before the delivery/pick up date.

  • There is a damage deposit of £100 for any damage/breakage, (held until we have checked our sets over to be sure we have everything returned in the condition it was delivered to you the hirer.

  • The return payment of the damage deposit will be paid directly into your chosen account after deduction of any possible costs (usually within 48 hours). 

  • All items remain the property of  Cotswold Vintage Tea Sets at all times.

How do our costs work?

  • We would like you to have the best experience with us.

  • To make things easier we hire out in mismatched groups of six, adding to that eclectic feel.

  • You can hire as many boxes of these that you need for your event.

  • Each of the sets consists of : 1 Teapot, 1 cake stand, 1 milk jug, 1 sugar bowl, 6 cups, 6 saucers, 6 tea plates, 6 teaspoons, 6 tea knives.

  • Our china is of high quality, but due to the age of some of the china there maybe a loss of gilt or crazing to the glaze, this does not affect the quality or usage of the china.

  • Box for 6 people = £25    Box for 12  people = £50

  • Any additional box you require after your first 2 boxes booked, will be at £20 per box.

  • £25 (6), £50 (12), £70 (18) ,£90 (24), £110 (30), £130 (36), £150 (42), £170 (48), £190 (54), £210 (60), £230 (66), £250 (72), £270 (78) ,£290 (84), £310 (90), £330 (96), £350 (102).

  • If you feel you need other extra's i.e. another teapot, cake stand, cake plate, sugar bowl or milk jug on top of your boxes booked then we can provide these for you, prices on request.

  • Delivery: for a minimum 5 box order, delivery is included for the first 20 miles round trip, after that the cost per mile is 70 pence. Orders less than the minimum 5 boxes is charged at £20 on top of the mileage cost, as stated above. 

  • N.B. If delivery/pick up is not required no charges apply.

  • We ask that all liquids are emptied out and all plates are clean from food, we will take care of the washing up.

  • N.B. we ask that if you use some of the items more than once, whilst it is with you, please do not use a dishwasher or abrasive detergents, please only use the hand washing method to clean our sets.

Our policy for damaged products and cancellation?

  • The return of the guarantee deposit will be paid directly into your  account after deduction of any possible costs.

  • Breakages are rare, but if damage or breakages occur the cost per item is: Teapot/lid £25, Cake stands £25, Sugar bowls £8, Milk jugs £8, Cake plates £10, Cake slice £5, Tea plates £4, Cups £4, Saucer £4, Teaspoons/Tea knives £3, Tablecloths £20, Boxes £10. The breakage amount will be deducted from your £100 deposit accordingly.

  • We do ask that if something is broken/chipped, please still send it back to us, wrapped in paper, when we do our checks we will then calculate any breakages, losses or missing items.

  • All goods should be returned in the original packaging/boxing it was delivered in, wrapping lids and pots separately.If the boxes are not the same ones on return then the cost of the box will be deducted from the damage deposit.

  • The tea sets hired remain the responsibility of you the hirer, remember if you leave it at another venue/friends house/village hall to be used by others you are still the hirer until return/collection and the checking has been done. 

  • We will arrange a collection/pick up time, if we can ask for the boxes to be safely packed and ready for this agreed time. Any time we have to spend waiting/repacking over 15 minutes, will be charged at a cost of £30 per hour.

  • Any cancellations for any reason must be made in writing.

  • If you let us know 30 days or more before your delivery date then you will have a full refund.

  • If the notice you give is between 15 and 29 days before delivery date, the cancellation cost is  75% of your full charge. Any changes made will be charged at the greater figure if they are made within the cancellation period.

  • Full charge is made for a cancellation of 14 days or less of delivery/pick up date.

Professional Approach

All the hard work is taken out of your event.
We do the nasty bits like the washing-up.
The service will arrive packaged up from the journey, we deliver this to you/or you pick up, at an agreed time.
Giving you the time to set it out as you require.
Setting up, unpacking and packing away are not included in your hire charge.
Our sets come boxed for 6 people. 
With the mismatched colours, it never fails to give that fabulous look to add to your event.
